Norris Reservation provides miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails, swimming, bicycling, areas for snowshoeing, and ice skating ponds. The North and South River Watershed Association was created by a handful of river-lovers devoted to preserving the natural beauty of the area.
Norwell also has an entrance to Wompatuck State Park where there are almost 4,000 acres of forest and meadow complete with hiking and paved trails.

The center also includes a library, exhibits, six trails,and special events for children. The Norwell Recreation Office organizes a wide range of activities for all family members.
The Company Theater is located in Norwell and is one of the few independently owned professional, regional theaters in the country. Their shows include many popular and musicals.
